Happy BEE Day....with a Buzzz!

Couldn't help myself. Just had to make one more card today!

I have done my part for tonights dinner - the rest is up to Mr. T who is in charge of the grill ;o) That made time for creativity!

This is what got created.....
Is it just me or do you also find it hard to take photos of black cards? Gosh, it was not easy to get a good take.

The card is inspired by the sketch from Retro Sketches challenge #63 and the theme "Things with Wings" from Simon Says Stamp challenge.

In order to get a really good square I used one of the dies from Sizzix Framelits "Squares" as a stensil. That worked perfectly!

I had hoped the hexagon circle would stand out more - maybe if I had used the white ink or perhaps even gold ink. That will have to be next time!

The little white dots is made by hand with the Uniball Signo White pen. That pen works wonders! I am so glad I got it. I also used the Signo pens to colour the little bee in white and gold.

Until recently I have been using the Gelly Roll Sakura White pen from Panduro.dk. But it often dried up while using it on a project, which was really a pest. The Signo pen just keeps the fluid coming in a steady stream - THATS how it should be!

With this card I am also participating in CAS-ual Fridays challenge where it is their 100th challenge! The theme is "Top Ten Tic Tac Toe".
