Happy Bee...zzzZZZzzz Day

The other day when I was trying to catch up on all the blog posts I have missed during our little vacation on Bornholm, I came upon CAS(E) this Sketch's new challenge.

When I saw their sketch I immidiately knew what to make!

And here is my card.....

I really like when a card has lots of open space and is not cluttered at all. I do know that all that open space can be a bit intimidating - but just GO for it!

With this card I am also participating in A Blog Named Hero's challenge with the theme "Clean up your act".

and the Addicted to CAS challenge with the code word:
"Birthday".

To make the "Queen Bee" I first stamped the image on a piece of white scrap paper. Coloured it with Promarkers and cut it out.
Afterwards I stamped only the antennas of the bee on the card. To do this I put a post-it on the stamp to cover up the part, which I didn't want to get inky. Then I removed the post-it and stamped on the card.
The cut out "Queen Bee" I adhered to the card with dimensional squares, so it would fit perfectly with the antennas.

This card is also perfect for CASology's challenge with the cue card "Royal". My interpretation is the Queen Bee :o)

Thanks for taking a peek :o)
