Just be YOU.....

Yesterday I posted a card using double sided tape sheets and glitter. Today I am showing you a card using both items again - but still a very different card eventhough it is once again a butterfly card.

This card is a one layer card....

The die is Sizzix "Butterfly Delicate" and is quite larger than Martha Stewarts Monarch butterfly. It came with the new Big Shot.

For this card I die cut the double sided tape using the butterfly die and the YOU die from SimonSaysStamp. I prepared the card base with the Powder tool from EK Success. I have noticed that this makes excess glitter easier to brush off afterwards.

Then I adhered the butterfly and the YOU on the card. Poured on glitter and rubbed it into the tape. I have found out that a normal makeup facial powder brush works wonders when removing excess glitter.

I have coloured the glitter with Promarkers very, very carefully. Just dabbing on the colour with the tip of the Promarker.

Any "mistakes" can easily be removed using the Promarker Blender.

With this card I am participating in Addicted to CAS's Challenge with code word
"Take Flight"
and in CASology's Challenge with cue word "Free"
and in Simon Says Stamp's Challenge with the theme "Anything Goes"

That's it for today (I think). Enjoy the Sunday :o)
