It's a Girl.......MFT's scallop doily dies

Good morning :)
These past few days I have been enjoying my summer vacation with Mr. T, so there has been limited time at the craft desk.
But I have this baby card to share with you which is also one of my "Mission ShopSEI" cards. If you want to know more about the Mission read HERE.

The card is kept in Pastel Yellow, Black and White. The little heart is though in Pastel Pink with a light layer of Wink of Stella glitter. Well, I know it is not a typical colour combo for a baby card BUT I just love to do things a little bit different :)

On the card base I have drawn several lines with the Black pen. Then added a strip of Pastel Yellow card stock in the middle. On the strip of card stock I have also added a piece of ribbon from my stash. The ribbon matched perfectly to the colours of this card.

For the sentiment I have used Lawn Fawn's alphabet stamps to create my own Danish sentiment. I have used two alphabet stamp sets to make the sentiment because one set was with smaller letters than the other.

To make the sentiment fit the round doily I placed the letter stamps on the steel die first - bottoms up. This way I could place the letters perfectly and transfer the letter stamps to the stamp press easily. Before stamping on the doily I made a test stamping first - just to be absolutely sure that it would look alright.

After stamping the smallets of the MFT's doily die-cuts with the sentiment I then adhered the two doilys on top of eachother.

I added the doilys to the card with 3D squares to give a little dimension. Final touch is the little die-cut heart from SimonSaysStamp which I chose to be in Pastel Pink for a little contrast. The heart I gave a slight layer of glitter with the Wink of Stella pen.

Have a nice Wednesday :)
