Quick & Easy Christmas Card....gold deer.

Happy Friday everyone :)
Oh boy, did that come out too cheerful??
Perhaps it is my travel nerves showing...less than 1½ day till take off to Argentina and Brazil. One business trip, two countries and two offices in 5 working days. I do have a little spare time on arrival day in Buenos Aires so I might be able to go and see the grave yard where Evita Perón is buried. It would be nice to see just a tiny little bit.

Today I want to share a very quick Christmas Card with you. If you are used to making cards with heat embossing this card will also be a very easy card to make.

I have used two Christmas stamp sets from Hero Arts for this card. I find that the deer image says it all and has therefore chosen to keep the card as simple as possible.

First I stamped the deer image with Versamark and added the gold embossing powder. Then I stamped the greeting in the same way. Afterwards this I used my heat gun to make the embossing powder melt. I have used the ordinary powder for this card and not the "super fine" powder.

The "super fine" powder is very good for stamping with lots of details or sentiments with thin & delicate writing. Here the powder melts better together and gives a very smooth finish and sharper edges.

The ordinay powder gives a more textured finish when used for detailed stamping or sentiments. Now, I really like the textured look it gives, so it is basically up to your own taste and preferences.

This is it for today. Have a splendid Friday!

Pia xx
