Layered stamping with woodgrain background

This is my second card today for the class "Clean & Simple 3".
This time I am trying out the technique "Layered stamping" which was shown today by teacher Jennifer McGuire.
For my card I have chosen to use the HA woodgrain background stamp. I don't have many background stamps so this seemed the best to use.

It is best to use solid stamps for this technique and the best I had was this stamp set from Avery Elle which was rather big in size.

Look how the woodgrain pattern shines through the solid stamped images! It gives a rather interesting look.

This card I am entering into the challenges:
Perhaps I will have time for one more card today....who knows.
