Designer's Choice "Markers or Pencils" - INKspirational Challenges

This time at Inkspirational Challenges we have a Designer's Choice for a theme. And it is Nonni's turn to choose.
Nonni has chosen that we are to use:
"Markers or pencils"
on our projects/cards.
So bring out those pencils, water colour pencils, Distress Markers etc. and get creative.
If you want to join in the fun and give it a go at creating a card or project using markers or pencils, then come on over to The Inkspirational Challenges.
Here is my card to kick-start your mojo....

I have to admit something. This is actually my first card EVER to use water colour pencils. So Nonni has really pushed my creative boundries this time.. LOL.

I wanted to make a vase of flowers but did not have any vase stamps. Quick thinking I grab a talk bubble stamp from Simon Says and used that instead. As a bonus I didn't even have to worry about the sentiment as is written on the "vase"..LOL.

I used masking when stamping as I wanted the flowers to "fall" over the top of the vase. But my masking wasn't a 100% perfect, but who cares....(I do! but didn't have time for a re-do).

With this card I am also participating in

If you want bundles of inspiration go check out the other wonderful Design Team gals:

And then pop over to Inkspirational Challenges with your card or project.
I can't wait to see what YOU create!

  3. CLEVER you - and masking OK if you tell yourself the flowers would make a shadow on the vase. =0)

  5. Brilliant move in creating a vase out of the speech bubble stamp; it's awesome! And this is your 'first' watercolour with pencils? WOW - a 'pro' look indeed - and I think these are tools you should be showcasing more often, because this bouquet is amazing! Ever so pretty! Fabulous card for the challenge!

  7. I have this bubble stamp and have never thought of using it like this, what a creative idea...thanks for the tip!! And your masking looks good to me and if this is the first time you have used water colour pencils then you are a natural!

    God aften herfra.
