Stitching Texture

Today in class we are focusing on Texture.

The technique shown by Jennifer McGuire is stitching and as I have loads of old embroidery thread this seemed like a perfect technique to try out.

I did as Jennifer and used the negative of a die-cut as a stencil for making the holes. Here I just used a needle and a mouse mat.
