Double Layered Texture Paste - Part II

Alright, here we go with Part II for the "Double Layering Paste" technique which I have learned in the latest Online Card Classes "Clean & Simple 4".
This is my second card with this (tricky) technique and yes, it did go a lot better - though still not perfect. Damn, this is a challenging technique LOL.

This time I gave my stencil (for the second paste layer) a bit of Scotch Spray Mount Respositionable Adhesive. This help a great deal to keep the stencil down to the card base.

Again I have used a homemade stencil for the second layer. It just seemed like the best idea, so I could have a stencil pattern which fit this challenge.

The card is made in 4 steps:
  1. First the watercolouring with Distress Inks on the card front. This will need to dry completely before step 2.
  2. First layer of Texture Paste (Dots) is added. This must dry completely before step 3.
  3.  Second layer of Texture Paste is added and let dry.
  4. Sentiment and vellum leafs are adhered to the card to finish it off.

The sentiment is Danish and means "Get Well".

The sentiment is a die from the Norwegian brand kaBoks, which get their dies and stamps made in USA. And they are expanding to the Danish market and now offers sentiment dies in Danish, YAY! I can't wait to see what their next release with enhold :o)

Have a great day.
