Photo Inkspiration - INKspirational Challenges

Welcome to a new challenge at INKspirational Challenges

Our challenge #76 is a photo inspiration, so all you have to do is to make a project inspired by the photo. Remember we must be able to see the link from the photo to your project.
See further down for the photo in question. 
Oh, I just love this challenge. Fantastic inspiration photo with links to Japanese culture and geisha style. The geisha girls white painted face and bright red lips which made it look like they were wearing masks.  
This is my interpretation of the photo....


I hand-drew my image with focus on creating the face of a geisha girl. I got inspiration for her hair from our challenge photo and on Pinterest from this picture and this

I have coloured her with Promarkers where I mostly used the fine tip nib (to be bought seperately) when colouring. I kept it in black, white and red - the red as geisha girls often has bright red lips. This is also my first ever attempt to colour black hair. I am very, very satisfied with the final result of my geisha girl :)
