I just LOVE being creative and it is a very important part of me. I work full time as a finance manager at a Danish Company which designs and imports gift wrapping paper, gift boxes, gift bags and everything else needed for gorgeous gift wrapping. After work I relax at my craft desk creating cards, using my hands for other things than typing on the computer and I immerse in loads of colourful inks, stamp sets, dies, stencils & design papers instead of Excel sheets. It is my heaven after working hours.
Besides being creative for different design teams I am also fortunate to be the Creative Editor for The Paper Crafting Scandinavian Edition online magazine.
The magazine started in February 2014 and I have been on board since then. First as a writer on the editorial team, then in 2015 I started up the magazines guest design team and ran this from 2015 till 2017. From 2016 till present I am the coordinator behind The Paper Crafting's Cyber Crop events, which we hold two times a year in a Facebook group. We hold the events on National Scrapbooking Day and World Cardmaking Day.
Due to my growing involvement in The Paper Crafting I have been The Creative Editor from 2016 and going forward. Basically I work behind the scenes, plan and coordinate events.
I started scrapbooking in 2005 but changed to making Cards in 2012 after coming across Kristina Werner and her card tutorials. Through Kristina I got to know Jennifer McGuire. Card making has soooo much won me over. Lets face it, I might never return to scrapbooking LO's ever again! WOA, did I just say that! And I am definitely a fan of the CAS style :o)
I am born and raised in Denmark. In my younger years I have done a year of college in Cambridge, UK, and 6 months of volunteer work in Phichit, Thailand. Now I live with my husband Mr. T and our dog Pepsi in an idyllic place called Sørup, Fredensborg, north of Copenhagen in Denmark.
My first language is Danish but I have decided to keep this Blog in English. Mainly because this Paper Craft hobby of mine originated in USA, but also because there are so many kindred paper geek spirits around the world. I cannot promise a flawless English, but I will do my best.
I hope you find my Blog a little bit interesting. Mostly I hope that you get inspired to make your own cards or anything else creative.
Enjoy and don't hesitate to ask me questions.
