Optical Illusion - A hole in the Sky

I am trying to catch up on the OnlineCardClasses class Clean & Simple 3, which I am participating at the moment.
 
This time we are making real one-layer cards.
 
I decided to try out the technique shown by Jennifer McGuire, who used masking to create her card with optical illusion.
 
Here is my go at it.....
