Scrapbook Adhesive 3L do you know this Danish company?

Well, I have been playing with their Metallic Transfer Foil and been testing it to the limit. I have made this card combining the Metallic Transfer Foil (great colours) and liquid glue and the result is just perfect!

I have basically used my liquid glue tube as a writing pen and made this handmade pattern. Thereafter adding the Metallic Transfer Foil and getting this great result. I know the metallic shine is difficult to catch on the camera, but believe me this card has a gorgeous shine to it.

I have used the Metallic Transfer Foil which has a purple/pink shine to it. And I find this goes well with teal/turquoise. So this is why I have combined these colours and a twist of yellow.

Just look at the pic below how the foil changes from a purple colour to a pink depending on the light!

Do you ever freehand decorate your cards? I found it rather timidating at first, but as I just jumped into it, it wasn't as nerve racking as I first thought.

Bit by Bit of Designpaper #6 | VIDEO |Lawn Fawn | My Favorite Things

Today I am sharing another card project I have made for the Danish Operation Write Home - Operation Skriv Hjem. 

If was for a card serie called "Bit by Bit of Designpaper" where I focused on using some of the 12 x 12 designpaper you never get around to use. Perhaps the pattern is too busy, maybe the colours aren't you anymore or perhaps there is only a big image in one of the corners. 

Doing a video on this came around as I was contacted by a follower of Operation Skriv Hjem, who asked if I could give any advice on how to use designpaper with busy patterns or multicoloured patterns. Then I thought it was so much easier to do a video where I could show this. The advice is quite basic but works. I got my advice back in the days from Kristina Werner and it is worth sharing.

Today I am showing you one of these cards and of course also the video. 

It's hard to see on this photo but behind the LOVE there is a heart shaped raised diecut. The next photo shows it better. 

The sentiment and pink heart have been added a layer of Glossy Accents.

The big heart is popped up using 3D squares. Underneath I have let the pink matte show through. 

I have lastly added a few drops of Nuvo Crystal. These are wonderful to work with and you can make any size you want. Just have to remember to let them dry over night.

This card is from a card serie about using your 12 x 12 designpaper bit by bit for the Danish Operation Write Home - Operation Skriv Hjem. 

I was contacted by a follower of Operation Skriv Hjem, who asked if I could give any advice on how to use designpaper with busy patterns or multicoloured patterns. This turned into a video and 4 different cards. The advice is quite basic but works. I got my advice back in the days from Kristina Werner. 

Today I am showing you one of these cards and of course also the video. 

The Danish sentiment means "Sending you 1000 kisses" and is from the Danish brand Three Scoops.

In the beginning of my video I explain some basic rules for combining busy patterned designpaper with other paper. Also I show some examples of combinations.

This card is absolutely one of my favorites from this card series. 

I am really fond of the detail of placing a single colour cardstock strip behind the vellum sentiment to make the sentiment POP more against the busy designpaper.

The sentiment is heat embossed with Seafoam white powder. This powder has a little creamy colour to it. All supplies are listed below.
