Heidi Swapp Minc with Altenew Clear Stamp and Foil Technique

A couple of days ago I shared a blog post about discovering how to use my clear stamps with the foil technique.

When you use clear stamps with sticky embossing powder then the stamping lines gets thicker. But I wanted the super crisp original look of my clear stamps with foil and this technique is it!

to read and see my first blog post about this.

For this card I have used this big sentiment stamp from Altenew. For foil I have used silver which is why it looks quite white on the photo. In real life this is über gorgeous.

Just look how thin the stamping lines/letters of the sentiment looks. This is what I wanted and not the "thick" result you get when using embossing powder.

In this video I demonstrate the technique when created another card:

I have a couple of curious questions for you
  • Do you love foil on cards?
  • Do you own a Mini Minc machine?

Have a wonderful pre-Christmas week.

Heidi Swapp Minc with Hero Arts Clear Stamps and Foil Technique

I am a sucker for foil on my cards. I love that you can print your own sentiments and images with a laser printer and then foil it. But I have always dreamed of a way where I could get to foil my clear stamp sets images and texts. AND now I've found a way :)

The card is created with a clear stamp from Hero Arts and the Heidi Swapp "Minc Reative Paint". The result is mind blowing and gorgeous! But this techniques requires you work fairly quick.

Both the mitten and the greeting is stamped and then foiled.

To demonstrate I have also created a video for you to see.

The sentiment is Danish and means Christmas Greetings.

After the foiling I have added a bit of colour to the mitten with a Promarker pen.

I made quite a few Christmas cards using this technique to test it. I'll do my best to share them the next following days.
