Dainty Bouquet | Altenew | Layered Stamping | Birthday Card

When I was at Creativation 2019 in Phoenix I first tried out this stamp set from Altenew and immediately fell in love with it. Therfore I have used it to create this card. 

I don't know about you, but this stamp set is just perfekt for floral cards, wedding cards, birthday cards and any type of occasion type of cards.

Today I am sharing a birthday card which I have sent to a crafty kindred spirit which I met for the first time at Creativation 2019. She has turned the big 4-0 and myself having stepped into the 4-0's 1½ year ago could relate to the process. Just sharing some crafty love and kindness to a fellow crafter. 

This stamp set from Altenew is an absolute stunner! Just telling you!

But I do love the colour combination I have chosen for this card. This turned out perfect. And using the MISTI stamping tool makes this a piece of cake!

I do really hope everone - whether in their 40ties or not are having crafty fun in this wonderful community of ours. I feel blessed to be a part of it.

Honey Bee Hello Cuts | Altenew Dotted Scales | Scrapbook Adhesives 3L Black

Keeping it simple is my mantra and this card turned out just the way I wanted it. 

Clean and Simple with focus on the sentiment with a splash of yellow.

(Psst, I am also sharing a little puppy pic in the end).

The Dotted Scalles background die is stunning and makes the sentiment pop more. 

But the addition of the yellow drops and the yellow envelope gives that extra Umpf to the card. 

The gorgeous Hello sentiment die from Honey Bee Stamps comes with two shadow dies. I have made another card using the complete sentiment die including shadow dies and you can see it HERE. 

I love combining different brands when I make cards. What about you?

Dainty Bouquet | Altenew Layered Stamps | Birthday Wishes

I was at the Creativation tradeshow in Phoenix this January and paticipated in Altenew's workshop called "Quick and Simple Cardmaking". They showed one of their new layering stamp sets called "Dainty Bouquet" and it's just gorgeous!

Here is the card we made in the workshop. Just imagine using it for wedding cards - how stunning would that be!

I was so excited about this workshop that I managed to be first in line as we had to wait outside the classroom. So I was lucky to get a spot in the front row. 

Below is a pic from the workshop which I managed to snap in between stamping. Here I have stamped to two greenish colours for the basis.  

For this card we used two mini cube ink sets. The "Floral 6" and the "Soft Pastel 6" sets.

The cardbase is Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. 

This class was so much fun and Jennifer Rzasa did a great job teaching us. 

Fingers crossed I will be able to go to Creativation in 2020.
