Be A Unicorn | CAS-ual Fridays Stamps | Black & White

"Always be yourself unless you can be a unicorn then always be a unicorn"

Love this sentiment from a stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. This card is quick and simple! I could have left out shading the unicorn but I just thought it needed a little touch. Here I have used a watercolour brush with a gray ZIG Clean Colour pen.

It just had to be glitter with the unicorn, so I added this lovely champagne coloured glitter paper to the back base. The cardfront is adhered to the cardbase using 3D squares for a little dimension.

I also covered the entire unicorn with Wink of Stella. Again - it just has to be glitter when a unicorn is in the picture, right :)

Baby Giraffe | Birthday Wishes | Impression Obsession | ZIG Clean Color Real Brush

This is the cutest baby giraffe! Perfect Clean and Simple card for a man. 

Love this stamp by Dina Kowal for Impression Obsession. 

I have used the ZIG's and a water brush for colouring the giraffe.

By choosing blue shades for the bow the card leans towards the masculine recipient. 

On purpose I have kept the card very simple and not added any extra embellishments. 

Honestly, I had to Google the colour shades of giraffes before colouring the beauty. Good thing I did, otherwise I would have coloured the dots much lighter, Ha!

Christmas Card | Mama Elephant | Watercolor Technique | ZIG Clean Color Real Brush

It's wonderful to make Christmas cards through out the whole year. This time I went for a watercolour technique with my ZIG's. The colour combination red and grey is gorgeous and the result amazing.

Go over to the Danish Operation Write Home blog, where I and two fellow crafters share Christmas card inspiration through out the year on the 24th of each month.

I have used the following ZIG colours for the flower: 

Geranium Red + Dark Brown
Green + Deep Green
Light Gray

I have used a watercolour brush to blend and pull the ZIG colour. 

I also got a chance to use my new Hero Arts Ornaments nested dies and just love how this looks.
