25 Years Work Anniversary | Create A Smile | Avery Elle | Masculine Card

For hubby I always make an exception when it comes to special order for cards. Today is a card he needed for one of his employees 25th work anniversary. It's already been a while since the card was given, so it is safe to share now. 

For this card I went with bold and bright colours. I must admit that the Catherine Pooler inks are fabulous and that there is absolutely no need for re-stamping. The ink gives so good coverage in the first go. 

For the "fireworks" I have used a stamp set from German Create A Smile Stamps. Love their style and that they design nested dies perfect for the European standard card size A6.

For the sentiment I have combined three brands - US Avery Elle, Danish Three Scoops and Danish Gittes Eget Design.

I love to mix and match brands when making cards. I find it gives so many possibilities in the creative process.

I did really try not to make this card to "girlie" but hubby did say it was received with joy - as well as the gift basket.

Far's Dag - Ha' en Herre Fed Dag

Did you know it's Father's Day this coming Sunday in Sweden and Norway?

Because of this we are sharing some masculine card inspiration in The Paper Crafting Magazine. You can go check it out HERE. 

For my card I finally got the opportunity to use my stamp set from Richard Garay with bowties. 

The Danish sentiment means something like "Have a totally awesome day".

Scrapbooking Day 2017 Recap - Ink Blending with Black

May 6th was (National) Scrapbooking Day 2017. Did you go crafty on May 6th??
I was definitely crafty as I spent the whole day hosting an online cyber crop for The Paper Crafting magazine.

But I wasn't alone, oh no, there were a great turnout for the cyber crop event and I also was so fortunate to have two sweet visitors IRL from the Danish Operation Write Home - Operation Skriv Hjem, who spent the day crafting with me.

Here is one of the projects I made during the day........

I have always been a bit scared of using black Distress Ink on blending projects. But during the Cyber Crop Event one of the participants had done just that and it look amazing. 

So this is my go at using black ink for an ink blending project and I am very, very happy with the result. The black Distress Ink doesn't look THAT black when it comes to it!

The Danish sentiment means "Congrats" or "Happy Birthday".
