Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so it was so easy to be inspired
by pink colours and hearts. Apparently I am in a PINK fase at the moment and this is just one of my PINK cards :o)
For my card I have used two different techniques:
First one is inlaid die-cutting which I have used for the hearts in the background.
The other technique is using Distress Inks and a stencil to make a subtle pattern on the card front. It is not easy to see, but it looks gorgeous IRL.
The silouette of the man and woman is a die from Norwegian kaBoks. It also comes with a coordinating heart die with scallop edges.
kaBoks is expanding to the Danish and Swedish market.
I have made the subtle background pattern by adding Distress Ink directly to my stencil. Then giving the stencil a good mist with water thereafter pressing the stencil down on the cardfront and letting it soak up the ink.
With this card I am participating in the following challenges:
That's all for now. Have a great day.
Pia :o)
This is so beautiful Pia!
ReplyDeleteThis is simply stunning Pia, and would have been perfect for our challenge, but at Less is More we have a limit of five challenges which may be combined, so sadly your card will not be eligible for prizes or showcasing!
ReplyDeleteI do hope that you will join us again!
Thanks so much
