CAS-ual Fridays Stamp | Concord & 9th | Tell Cancer It can....

In this card I have combined two awesome stamps! 

This time I have tried a more masculine colour combo or more gender neutral. 

This stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays is the best! Although the circumstances for this kind of card sucks, this is nevertheless a type of card which is too often needed. 

Michele from CAS-ual Fridays was also so very kind to sponsor this stamp set for The Paper Crafting Magazine's Cyber Crop event on InterNational Scrapbooking Day. Huge thanks to Michele for this.

Gummiapan | Repeat Stamping Technique | Birthday Cards

When Swedish Gummiapan came out this year with tree big Danish text stamps I just had to get a couple of them. They totally speak to my CAS heart <3

The Danish text means Congrats, Congrats, Congrats on your birthday. 

I have also used a variaty of the inlaid diecutting technique for the flag. 

On my other card I have used one of my Ombré ink pads. It's been too long since I've last used it. It really did need a bit of crafty love. 

On this card I did use the Inlaid diecutting technique for the little flag. Thought it a bit fun to incorporate the Danish flag when the text was plain grey/black.

Concord & 9th | Simon Says Stamp | Happy Birthday Card

Sometimes getting started takes longer than expected. It's been a while since I bought this Turnabout stampset from Concord & 9th. It took me ages to pull it out and give it a go. 

I should have done it soooo much earlier 'cause this stampset rocks!

This Dahlia Turnabout stamp is super easy to use, when making square cards. Me - I always make standard A6 cards therefore I needed to adapt my technique a bit. 

To start off I drew a cross with a light pencil line on my cardfront. The center of the cross right where I wanted the center of my Dahlia flower. 

The pencil lines are the guide to place the stamp correctly for each turn. On my stamp I have also drawn a cross. This is all explained when you buy the stampset. 

If I did not have my pencil cross as a guide, then by each turn I would end up stamping in different places on my cardfront. This all because I do not stamp on a square piece of cardstock. 

The colour combination for this card just shines happiness. Such a joyful mix of colours. The yellow really is allowed to pop and stand out between the other colours. 

A couple of tips when stamping with Turnabout stamps: 

# Always start with the lightest colour first. This to avoid too much colour transfer to the next colour. 

# It can be a great advantage to clean the stamp properly between each colour. For this can be used a scrubbing pad and stamp cleaner.
