Gift Tags ready for Christmas *Revisited*

Holy Moly, or what ever you say in English...Chrismas is less than 3 months away!

I though I'd share a couple of gift tags I made a while back as Guest Designer for the Danish Store Picturing The World. This is why I am calling it *Revisited* ;o)

And there is even a little VIDEO included to show how to make these gift tags as well as a couple of tips along the way when using Paste.

The best thing about these tags are that they are made out of recycled cardstock. Do you know these paper pads with lined or squared paper. Here I have used the backing cardstock to make these tags.... isn't that awesome!

Add a little gold, paste and vellum and You've got a classy and stunning gift tag!

Do you make your own gift tags for the Christmas presents??

Christmas Gift bag

Honestly, I have no idea if this will be my last Christmas related blogpost.
But I really wanted to share with you a gift bag I have made for Mr. T's mother. It enholds a gift certificate hidden in a roll wrap (have no idea what's called in english).

The gift bag is made of a size of paper which fits an A4 size. This gift bag is though made of a 12"x12" design paper cut to the size of A4.

You can see a video tutorial of the gift bag in The Paper Crafting HERE. The inspiration and "how to" I found on Pinterest.

The gift certificate is wrapped up in this cute little roll.
That's all for today.
Merry Christmas to you all.

Gift bag in White & Gold

When I purchased that last Christmas gift for Mr. T, I got it in a plain white paper bag. Honestly, I really don't mind 'cause then it is so easy to spice it up just the way I want.
This year I have been on a White & Gold theme inspired by the new Christmas collection Tinsel & Company from Teresa Collins.
Therefore the white paper bag was practically begging for a make-over in Gold with a twist of black....well, as it is for a man there had to be a touch of maschulinity.
Here is my result of the Make-over...

I *LOVE* my Dymo label maker. It gives both cards and other projects a ruff look.
So fitting for this Gold & White gift tag look. The front tag is a tad smaller in side than the tag behind. This is so the gorgeous snowflake paper is showing.

I used a leaf stamp from Clearly Besotted and heat embossed with gold.

With this I participate in the challenges:

That is it for today.

Over the Edge stamping

It has been a ruff 1½ week since my tonsil operation. Today is the first day with a little energy to do a bit of crafting. Oh boy, have I missed it!
I decided to try out Laura Bassen's technique from Day 6 with "over the edge" stamping with outline stamps.
I am not completely satisfied with my choice of ink colours for the blending, but practice makes master :o)
For the tags I used the card stock from the back of an old paper pad which reminds a bit of really thick Kraft.

One thing I did notice about this kind of card stock is that it is quite thirsty and soaks up the ink very much. This is why my yellow ink is not showing very much. Should have used a much more vibrant yellow.

The sentiment on the green/blue tag says "For You".

That is all for now
