YAY, I have so much been looking forward to this day and this challenge with Inkspirational Challenges. Why, you may ask yourself?
'Cause it was my time to choose the theme for Designer's Choice :o)
Guidelines: Ombré is when the colour is graduated in tone eg. a colour that fades from dark grey to light grey. Of course, any colour can be used on the project.
Here is my card where I have incorporated the "Ombré" in the chevron arrows.
First I coloured some white cardstock with my Promarker pens and then die-cut the chevron arrows. A couple of the chevrons have been adhered with 3D squares to create a little depth in the card. Also I like the little touch of letting the chevrons "hang" off the edge of the card front.
For this challenge we have wonderful Deepti joining us as Guest Designer. She has a blog called Dee's Art Utopia and I really recommend visiting it.
If you want bundles of inspiration go check out the other wonderful Design Team gals:

And then pop over to Inkspirational Challenges with your card or project.
I can't wait to see what YOU create!

Fint kort - lige da jeg så det, tænkte jeg... Andre farver, lidt tilretning - og det ville ligne et slips :D

ReplyDeleteLove this! The chevrons are awesome and I love how some of them pop up. Great design idea to have them come off the edge too. Fabulous as usual, Pia! :-)
ReplyDeleteFint chevron kort - og sjovt at se dem i de farver - for her i huset er vi jo så miljøskadede at vi tænker vinkler på en uniform når vi ser sådan nogen =0)
