I have created the woodgrain background by stamping a stamp repeatedly using my MISTI.
The Danish sentiment means "Love you".
I always tend to let a bit of my sentiment or embellishments "hang" over the edge. I find it gives a lot of interest to my cards.
Now it is your turn to get creative and join us at Inkspirational Challenges.

ReplyDeleteI love the red and grey combo and the woodgrain looks great.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Pia...your home-made woodgrain paper is a knockout! That, paired with the red polka dot, off-the-edge sentiment, and duo of hearts, makes for one fabulous card! Amazing translation of the inspiration photo!

Fantastic! Love that background and your big sentiment. The sentiment over the edge is an awesome design tip. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is cute, Pia! The grey wood grain is a great pattern and the red accent really stands out!
