Just because...to dear friends

It has been almost 1 ½ week since my last card and OH BOY have I been missing it. Reason is that we have been away on holiday in Egypt, so yesterday was my first day back at the craft desk. YEAH!

I decided to make a quick and easy card for our dear friends who have been taking care of our precious dog while on holiday. Just to say "Just because You're amazing", because they take such good care of her and always welcomes her into their home.

I could have made the card a One-Layer-Card, but decided against it. Why? Don't ask ;o)

All the stamps are from SimonSaysStamp and I've used the stamp set "Flower Friend".
With this card I am participating in SimonSaysStamp's challenge "Anything Goes".

The embellishments are made with Liguid Pearls. In one of the OnlineCardClasses we learned how to make your own embellishmenst with Glossy Accents. Can't remember which class.

A few weeks ago I decided to try and see if it also could work with Liguid Pearls - And it could!

How to....
Basically, you make little drops of Liguid Pearls or Glossy Accents on a piece of plastic. I've used a piece of stamp plastic wrapping. The kind your stamps are in, when you receive them. Then you let it dry. When it is completely dry the drops are easy to peel of the plastic.

Now you have drops of different sizes ready for use and don't have to wait for them to dry. Just add them to you card with a little glue (which is so much quicker!) Also now you have the possibility to move the drops around on your project and find the exact right spot for them before you glue them on.

This card is also perfect for the Addicted to CAS challenge with the Code Word "Flower".

Thanks for stopping by :o)
