So I have taken a nose dive into my little box of such scraps....and THREE cards emerged this weekend. All of them simply created by gathering scraps, bits and pieces and let them lead the way.
This is the third and last card..... (sorry about the quality of the photo)
To give the card base some texture I've scored a single line to create a frame. I really like this very simple and easy technique which has a HUGE effect.
The "GIRLS" are scraps from this CARD with the text "spring", so all I had to do was make a "L" for this card. I didn't even trim the letters but choose to leave them with the un-even sides. I find it gives the card a really cool look.
The sentiment is stamped with Hero Arts Shadow Ink "Bubble Gum" to link to the pink in "GIRLS". To finish off the card I've added a few half-pearls.
This card is participating in Simon Says Stamp's blog with the theme
"Anything Goes"
Enjoy the rest of your day!
