Summer has finally arrived in Denmark so the past days the weather has been absolutely wonderful and hot (by Danish standards). So I have been spoiling myself with me-time in the garden lying on the sunbeds reading chick-lit. The handsome Mr. T has been so kind to serve cool white wine and ice water. Ahhhhh, what a wonderful life :o)
Well, back to business. I have something to admit. This card gave me lots of grief and I am still not satisfied with it. I even considered not posting it to the blog, but then again. Lets face it we all have those cards that we are not fully satisfied with.
Here we go.....
This card is based on the #4 colour combination at Summer Card Camp. If I had to do it all over I would not choose a grey card base and I would make the window differently.
The window is made out of a piece of packeging, which I have embossed. The plastic was a bit thicker than expected and bended easily, which unfortunately also made the card stock bend a bit. Note to self - use thinner plastic packeging next time!

What is wrong with this? I think it looks just fine.
ReplyDeleteHi Maryann, I guess your worst critic is always yourself ;-)
DeleteNo matter what you think - and I am sure you have a lot of other wonderful ideas - this card is absolutely fine to those of us who cannot look into your head and see the other card. =0)
ReplyDeleteHI Pia, I like your card. I would maybe suggest a very subtle background stamp on the grey card base, or maybe some embossing on the card front. That might balance it out a bit more. But I love your blue frame around the window and the flowers are great!
ReplyDeleteCheer up -- you created a beautiful card! I like every bit of it, even the grey. Not a thing wrong with any of it!
ReplyDeleteNice job on your window card.I think it turned out great!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else! This is so pretty. It's a cool card!
