It is Wednesday today so I have # 5 of my "Washi Wednesday Cards" to share with you.
It is Wednesday today so I have # 5 of my "Washi Wednesday Cards" to share with you.
How many ways can you use Washi tape on cards? Well, that's what I am trying to find out. It is a little personal challenge I have going at the moment.

To make the Washi tape star I first took my star steel die and used it to mark up the area on a piece of white card stock. Then I used the marks to guide me when taping on the Washi. This was to make sure I had a full star covered on the card stock, but also to make sure not to waste too much Washi tape. Thereafter did I die-cut the star. This technique is of course also possible if you only have a star punch.
The star is adhered to the card base with 3D squares.
The card base is stamped using a background stamp. The outer frame of the card base was masked off before stamping.
The sentiment is stamped using Hero Arts Shadow Ink. As an extra little touch have I used the Wink of Stella on the words "You" and "Rock!". Love that subtle glitter effect!
