Playing with in-laid die-cutting

I wanted to make a couple of rather simple Love/Valentine's cards using the technique In-laid die-cutting.
This is how the cards turned out....

I taped (washi tape) the white card front and the pattern paper on top of eachother, so they wouldn't shift. Then I placed first the smallest heart on the card stock and ran it through the Big Shot. Then I placed the second largest heart on the card stock and ran it through the Big Shot and to on...

This way I got the die-cutting on the exact same spot on both the white card front and the patterned paper.

The hearts from the white card stock I coloured red using a Promarker.

Now I had pieces to make two very similar cards and could place the hearts as I wished in the die-cut void of the either white or patterned cardstock.

That's it for today.
