Some days I get über creative and I had one not so many days ago. At work I was going through papers and fell upon an empty plactic A4 clear view folder. The moment I saw I thought to myself if the backside could possibly be used for homemade stencils. That same evening I actually ended up making 6 stencils!!
For this card I have used two of my newly homemade stencils - one with feathers and the striped one.
My card is inspired by this CARD by Sandie. I went for the double layer card, the pop of colour (Orange & Green) and feathers.
This card combines several techniques. The base of the card is created using a stencil and inkblending tool. For the front of the card I have also used a stencil, but this time with mists. To add dimension I have die-cut a couple of feathers in vellum and coloured them with Promarkers.
Have you noticed the piece on which the sentiment is stamped? Do you recognise it?
It's that plastic thing which holds all the papers inside the view folder! What can I say - I find it hard to throw anything away.
With this card I am participating in the Inkspirational challenge #53, where the challenge is to CASE one of Sandie's cards.
