A little time ago a saw THIS blogpost from Jennifer McGuire about combining embossing folders and watercolour. But I actually tried this technique with Hero Arts dye ink instead. And it worked okay - I just didn't get the watercolour look.
This is how my card turned out. Now the ink colour I used is very, very close in colour to the green cardstock, so the effect is very subtle.
The branch is die-cut in the green cardstock, so that the brown shimmery paper is showing through the negative of the die-cut.
For the flowers I coloured some white cardstock with the HA Bubble Gum ink and for the sentiment I did the same thing with HA Raspberry ink.
The flowers are also stamped with HA Raspberry, which gives them dimension.
Have a great Wednesday :o)
