Colour embossing on dark cardstock

My last card for the OnlineCardClasses "Stretch Your Stamps 2" class. This one if for Day 10 where we were to use builder stamps.
Dawn Woleslagle showed us a card where she had used bold colours of embossing powder on dark cardstock.
I decided to try out this technique on a Halloween card. And it also gave me an opportunity to try out my new "Boo to You" stamp set from Clearly Besotted Stamps. The "Boo to You" is actually a little builder stamp set, so it was perfect for this.

I made a mask for the pumkin which I could use when stamping the green leafes. I first used the orange powder and heated that. Then the green powder and lastly the black powder.

I am positively surprised that the fine lines on the pumpkin shows. Had feared the embossing powder would melt and fill in the lines.

Rigtig god week-end nu, vi ses nok ikke mere før i næste uge, da vi skal på djævleøen i morgen tidlig, meget tidligt LOL

  2. Great card...you treaded where I feared to go (well...couldn't go is more accurate, as I have no coloured embossing powder). Halloween happy...
