Amazing how fast the past two weeks have gone! So it is therefore time for a new challenge with INKspirational!
This time we are having a Word Prompt:
SPACE
Now, it is up to you how to interpret the word. Let us see what you can come up with of awesome creations :o)
I couldn't help thinking about new living space, so this is how my card turned out...
Honestly, the coolest thing was to be able to play with my new stamp set from Clearly Besotted, YAY!
I have used a stencil for the background and basically just traced the stencil with a Distress Marker. Thereafter I faded out the lines with a waterbrush.
Come on...You should definitely come and play along with us :o)
For this challenge we are joined by awesome guest designer Sue T. from The Creative Studio. Go check out her blog :-)
Go visit the other DT girls and leave them some crafting love...
With this card I am participating in:
Go have some fun!
Pia :o)
I hadn't thought of that take in the word, very cool idea and you are rocking your new stamps. The images are adorable and teamed with the chevron background look fab x
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the word prompt - I love what you've done with the stencil - cute and lovely card.
ReplyDeleteYayyy for the new CB products (I have quite a few awaiting attention...apparently I'm CB-addicted) and double yayyy for your unique take on 'space'! Your birdhouse, sign and chevron background: awesome!

Great card Pia! I am seriously taken by that bold background you created. It seems like a simple concept, but it really created a dramatic look. Your little bird and house are great for this design.

what a sweet card! xx
ReplyDeleteAn innovative way to create a background - fabulous idea! I admire your color choices, too...(I think I'm basically 'afraid' of color so appreciate seeing combos that work so well)...it's a wonderful card.
ReplyDeleteLove the bright and cheery colors! Well done on this design, Pia! Thanks so much for playing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteLove your take on the prompt word, Pia! I really love how you made your chevron background. I'm going to have to try that! Awesome card! :-)
