Hello there....

Day 3 already in the Mask-erade class with Online Card Classes and this time it is all about masking fluids.

I have never tried out using this but have wanted to for a while. I even bought a bottle of rubber cement a couple of months ago. It's been sitting on my crafting table since it arrived and just collected dust.

This class has forced me to get going and try it out!

It came out almost perfect but I did learn to make sure to put on a thicker layer of the rubber cement. The darkest Distress Ink colour seemed to have seeped through a bit.

I decided to go for a masculine card as I often don't have enough of these when needed.

It also was the perfect opportunity to use some of my new stamp sets from STAMPlorations. That car is just super cool!

This class is just great! I do know quite a few of the techniques already but some of them I haven't tried out myself. Seeing them executed on Youtube is just not the same as actually doing it ;o)

  2. This turned out really well. The technique is perfect for the stamp and the whole design of your card is terrific. I've bought several fluid masking media as well but I have yet to try them out. Maybe today, right :)

  8. Fantastic card. Masculine cards are actually what I need most but seem to make the least.
