Today I am sharing the card I made for Round 2 at the World Scrap Battle & Tournament 2015....and it got me on to Round 3, YAY :)
Thank you everyone who voted for my card in the Cards category. You all ROCK!!
The theme for Round 2 was "Monochromatic" which was quite a challenge for me. Especially, since the guidelines for this were very vague. When you Google monochromatic you see that there are very different interpretations of this in the crafty world.
Nevertheless, here is my card.
Some might say that the background is white but it is not. It is a piece of white cardstock which I have mist coloured.
To stay within the teal/torquise colours I mainly used my Hero Arts "Mint to Green" Ombré ink pad. It worked wonders for this project.
I also used heat embossing with clear embossing powder to darken my cardstock. This way I could get two shades of colour using the exact same cardstock.
As this blog post goes live I am in the middle of Round 3 and probably working my butt off to create a gorgeous (hopefully) card to submit. Wish me luck ;)
I will keep you posted on my Facebook page and let you know when you can vote for Round 3 submissions. I know all the other participants will love it if you give your votes.
That is all for today. Have fun crafting :)

Flot kort og smart at "embosse" sig til en mørkere variant af farven!
