Outline Shadow Stamping + Technique VIDEO

It been very quite on my blog lately 'cause of personal reasons.

Life threw me a serious curve ball the same day we got back home from our honeymoon in April. My mother came close to leaving us too early in life. She made it and things are improving little by little, but it is a slow process and during this time my family needs my attention a lot more.

That said I still find a little time to get creative.
Honestly, I need to be creative to let steam off and get some me-time.

This is a card and Die-cutting Technique video I made before our honeymoon for The Paper Crafting Magazine - Scandinavian Edition. I thought it about time to share it here as well.

In the video I show how to get more out of your dies.

This time it is about using a set of coordinating dies and stamps. The technique is to use the die for creating your own stencil. Then using the stencil you can make a perfect outline shadow stamping image.

This techniques works best with a combination of pigment and dye inks. The pigment ink is used for the outline shadow and the dye ink is used for the detailed stamp image.

The card is kept very simple as I wanted the focus to be on the leafs and sentiment.

As a final little touch I added a few enamel accents drops in black.

That is it for this time.

I'll blog whenever possible but not as often as usual these days.
I hope to be back in full gear soon :)

Hugs,

  1. Fed ide Pia og det ser jo rimeligt enkelt ud. Det får jeg (der ellers ikke er så vild med at grise - helt lyst til at prøve ved lejlighed). Hilsen herfra =0)
