Holy banana, it's hot in little Denmark. Here we have been having the most depressing summer weather for weeks with only 15-18 degrees and lots of rain. Now suddenly it hits 27-30 degrees and full blown sunshine! Phew, I am melting.
I know it's completely the opposite season but today is the 24th of July which means there is only 5 months till Christmas. Not easy to get into the mood in this heat!
As usual I am over at the Danish Operation Write Home blog today - Operation Skriv Hjem.

For today I also made a video showing the technique I've used for this card. It's a heat embossing technique I've had refreshed on the Heat Wave class at OnlineCardClasses.
The Danish sentiment means "Merry Christmas" in English.
The sentiment is created using letter dies from Avery Elle.
This heat embossing technique starts with using double sided tape sheets. The process is shown from start till finish in the video :)

This card is completely "Glitter proffed" meaning that NO glitter bits at all can rub off. This is very important when the card is going to be sent to our soldiers stationed abroad. Loose glitter bits can put the lives of our soldiers at risk as they might stick to their skin and in worst case make the light reflect in it and make them an easy target for the enemy.
Are you making Christmas cards yet?
Hugs,
Pia
