Pattern Play - Day 1

I have been so excited all day because today is Day 1 in the Online Card Class Pattern Play.

Even though I got home late today I decided to give it a go at todays homework. We were to choose one of the shown techniques and make our own card with pattern paper.

Pattern paper can be a huge challenge for a lot of people. I have always feelt so, but there is light at the end of the tunnel :o)

Todays class gave me so many tips and ideas on how to overcome the challenges of pattern paper by following some simple rules.

But for now I will show you my first try at todays homework.

The minute I saw Kristina Werner's sketch in todays class, I just knew I had to make this card. Mainly because it is so much like the OSH's Tip #30. No way, that could be a coincidence :o)

I didn't have any ribbon which matched properly in colour BUT not to worry. Promarkers works magic on white satin ribbon. I've used Promarker "Cool Grey 4" to colour the ribben.

Supplies:

Thanks for popping in. Fellow students, I hope you enjoy this class as much as I :o)
