Cute as a Button....Card of bits & pieces

I always love it when a card emerges from bits & pieces which most likely would have ended up in the bin.

The other day I was making this card for the Danish Operation Write Home. And I ended up with some scrap bits & pieces. Some actually ended in the bin before I got the idea for this card. So basically I had to head dive into the bin and fish up the bits....LOL.

Try and compare this card with the one for Operation Write Home. Can you see which pieces I have used?

Can it even be a surprise that this is one more Mission card? NO!  :o)

I love how the little half-and-half circles turned out. Finally I also managed to get one of the stickers from the ShopSEI collection used. Here I turned it into a tag.

For the little half-and-half circles I have used 3D squares which I cut into tiny pieces.

I have also used the 3D sqaures for the tag. Thought it looked better plus it gives the card more dimension.

The string is just a piece of embroidery thread in a light pink'is colour.

  1. Rigtig flot kort, og det er bare alle tiders, når man kan få brugt noget, der ellers ville være blevet smidt ud.
