This is first day of the Summer Card Camp 2 class with OnlineCardClasses.com. The class runs over 3 weeks.
Each week of class, there will be a new color combination for us to use for the first four days of the week.
- Use at least four of the five colors
- You may add any neutral colors you desire (white, cream, tan, gray, black, and brown)
- If you do not have supplies in the exact colors, you can use similar colors (i.e. instead of a bright pink, you could use a pale pink)
I have used sketch no. 2 for my card. The card is not a direct CASE of the sketch, but the basics are still there.
I decided to give my card a chevron look, which gives the oportunity to stamp the sentiment this way.
This card was also perfect for my new Avery Elle Cupcake stamp & die set.
Adhering vellum to card stock can be a bit tricky 'cause often you can see the tape through the vellum. I have used the Glue Tape runner and it works pretty good.
The little springles on the cupcake have been given a hint of clear glitter with the Wink of Stella pen. The pen makes is soooo easy to apply glitter exactly where you want it.
Supplies used:
