Die cutting & embossing

Todays lesson at Summer Card Camp 2 was about die cutting techniques. As always there was homework for us students and of course, we had to make a card using one or more of the shown techniques.

Here is my card for today.....

Again I have chosen to use the Mud Pie brown bazzill card stock as the base. This makes the rest of the card "pop".

The die cut Cloe Stems are heat embossed twice each with Gold embossing powder. This to give them more depth and texture. I also added some little gems in different shades of purple and a few pink ones - just to give it a little sparkle & colour.

This card is made using the given colour combination and this weeks sketch no. 3.

With this Card I am participating in CASology's Challenge with Cue Card "Gold"
and
in Less Is More's Challenge with the theme "Hand made Flowers".

That is it for today! You will have to settle for a quick and short post today as it is getting late in the evening.
