For the next week our current challenge is "Christmas in July". We're sponsored by Stamp and Create and our monthly sponsor is The Ribbon Girl.
Be sure to pop by Sweet Stampin's Blog. We've got plenty of inspiration from the Design Team and we hope you will join us in the fun.
Here is my DT card to kick start your inspiration..................
I find it really hard to think of Christmas when it is a rather warm summer (for once) here in Denmark. I guess that is why my card ended up in the more light and cheerful end of the colour scheme...LOL.
I am currently participating in a Card Class and the other day we should make a card shaped otherwise than square. Then I thought why not make a round card like a snow ball with a window. So my card ended up in light blue (kind of like a snow ball) and with lots of heat embossed silver.
Inside the card is an image stamped with versamark ink and heat embossed with silver. I wanted the inside of the card to be very simple, especially since so much is going on on the front of the card.
I love to make fully embossed figures out of punched images. Here I, of course, went with the punched snowflake.
Hope you got inspired :o)
Don't forget to stop by Sweet Stampin's Blog and check out the other DT Gals cards or perhaps even participate in the Challenge. Join in the Fun :o)
