It's Wednesday....
...so I have # 8 of my "Washi Wednesday Cards" to share with you :) This time it's all about Christmas.
How many ways can you use Washi tape on cards?
Well, that's what I am trying to find out. It is a little personal challenge I have going at the moment.
You can see #1 HERE, #3 HERE, #4 HERE and # 6 HERE if you are curious or a new comer to my blog.
I made these two Washi Christmas Cards this weekend at Susaa Scrap.
We were 25 ladies who met and spend the whole weekend scrapping. It was an awesome weekend thanks to all the ladies but not least Glennie and Bettina. I cannot thank those two wonderful ladies enough. I will look forward to next year :o)
For the second card I used a piece of coarse string to sew the trunk of the tree and tie a bow at the top. The ends of the string is taped on the back of the card stock.
Again I just added strips of washi tape to shape the tree. On this card I stamped the sentiment with Royal Red shadow ink from Hero Arts.
Here I have only used red and brown seguins to decorate the tree.
That's it for today! Have a wonderful wednesday and come back next wednesday for a new Washi Wednesday Card :o)

I have used the only 3 green washi tapes I own for these cards.
On the first card I drew 3 vertical lines with a gold pen and then added the strips of washi tape. I topped off the tree with a stamped gold star which I have covered with glossy accents. The tree is decorated with sequins and the sentiment is stamped with gold ink.
With this card I am participating in Simon Says Challenge with the theme
"We're going Dotty!"
and in the Moxie Fab World Challenge
"The Stickers & Tape Challenge"
