Sketch inspiration from My Favorite Things

The other day I just had to make a card.

I had seen that My Favorite Things had collected all of their card sketches since 2011! And I just had to make a card for the latest sketch #166.

For my card I have combined vellum and pattern paper. The vellum doily is made with a borrowed doily die, so I don't know what brand it is.

The top edge of the pattern paper is diecut with my new Notebook Edge die from Clearly Besotted stamps.

The edges of the card base I have coloured with a Promarker to add contrast to the pattern paper.

The tiny little birdie is a stamp from Bo Bonny. After stamping the little birdie I fuzzy cut it, as there is no corresponding die to this. I think the birdie fit so well with the pattern paper.

This card I am entering in the Hero Arts Birthday Challenge in two catagories:
Anything Goes
Floral

That is all for now.
