Goodmorning everyone :o)
Our challenge #64 is a photo inspiration, so all you have to do is to make a project inspired by the photo. See further down for the photo in question.
This is my interpretation of the photo....
For the peacock feathers I have used water colouring paper and Distress Inks. First I stamped the feathers with Distress Ink, then took a water brush and added more Distress Ink and to mix the ink colours. I am yet not an expert in water colouring, but practise makes perfect....some day I hope ;o)
And I still find it very, very diffecult to make perfect droplets & splashes with mists!

ReplyDeletedejligt kort
ReplyDeleteSuper flot kort og fin løsning på opgaven.
ReplyDeleteOg sikke flittig du igen har været, mens jeg ikke når rundt og kigge. Det ene kort mere spændende end det andet.
WOUW virkelig smukt kort Pia.
ReplyDeleteI think your eater colouring is perfect and missed with the doily stamps it is a great take on the photo x
ReplyDeleteYour water-colouring looks mighty amazing to me, especially that 'eye' you've created on the feathers! Realism achieved! The doilies (you do work magic with those!), the pop of orange, the splatters - a striking combination and inspired take on the photo!

I"m back...my 'cas' style is more a default style than anything totally deliberate...it's called 'lacking in supplies' *grin* I totally want to try mixed media, but don't have any of the essential ingredients. When I try something more complex - like the beauty you have here - I wind up making a mess...usually a blob of something landing where it shouldn't...and I get frustrated. My cards feel just "plain Jane' to me! As for you, I think you show exceptional versatility in styles...and that's what I'd like to learn!!
