DAY 5
This card is from Day 5 in the class "Rainbow Maker" with Online Card Classes. Here the theme of the day was stenciling mediums.
I opted for the combination of stencils and glitter heat embossing as I didn't have any glitter paste.
I also incorporated the technique "direct inking" from Day 1 shown by Julie Ebersole.
First I used Hero Arts shadow inks where I took the ink pads and smooshed on the ink directly to the cardstock. By holding the ink pads in a tilted position I could use one end of the ink pad to add colour to my cardstock.
Thereafter I used a stencil and added glitter embossing on top. Where the glitter embossing is, the ink colours get a tone darker which gives an awesome look.
Just look at all that sparkle! Love it :)
