Christmas Greetings | Create A Smile | Heat Embossing | Polychromos coloring

It's time again for Christmas cards inpiration. Every month on the 24th I am sharing ideas for a Christmas card. This time I have played with stamps from Create A Smile Stamps. 

Have you ever tried heat embossing on gold cardstock? Well, I was very much positively surprised with the good result. 

This cardstock has a  smooth surface with a shimmering look. The smooth surface makes it optimal for heat embossing techniques. Gold is not the easiest colour to photograph because of the reflections. But the white heat embossing looks really good in real life. 

The holly is coloured with Polychromos colour pencils. These also gives a good coverage on the gold cardstock.
