What is not to like about heat embossing techniques! For this Christmas card I have combined the untraditional colours navy blue, gold and white and it gives a clean and fresh look.
As usual we are sharing some Christmas Card inspiration over at Operation Skriv Hjem (Danish Operation Write Home).
I used the MISTI to stamp the sentiment. I did stamp twice with the VersaMark Embossing ink to ensure really good coverage on the navy blue cardstock.
Before stamping I used my EK Success Powder Tool to remove any static and grease fingerprints from the cardstock. By doing so I got a really good result with both the WOW gold and Ranger's Super Fine White.
Because of the texture surface of the cardstock I do get a "broken" coverage of the heat embossing. But I just think it gives the card character.
