Good Luck on Your Exam | Watermark Background | Gittes Eget Design

Good luck on your exam or as we might say in Denmark Pøj Pøj med Eksamen. 

This card was created for as a design team projekt for the Danish webshop Hobbyboden.dk

This was part of a design team challenge with the theme to stretch your text stamps. This was my second go at this DT challenge.

I used my MISTI stamping tool to make the repeat stamping on the grey cardfront. For the stamping I used Watermark ink, which creates a darker shade of the original cardstock colour. How cool is that!

I made sure for each row of stamping that I shifted the position of the stamping a bit, so each row is a bit off. 

The sentiment I stamped with the same stamp again and added the extra text. This made the complete sentiment to be "Good luck on your exam". And in Danish "Pøj pøj med eksamen".

The cardfront is mounted with 3D squares and the sentiment is also mounted with 3D. This gives a little extra dimension. But I only use 2mm 3D squares so the card doesn't end up too thick. 

Last and final touch was a few bright yellow enamel dots which is a fab contrast to the grey.
