The card is made with inspiration from the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge where the keywords this week is Chevrons & flowers. What a fun and intriging combination, so I just had to try this one out.
It so happens that Addicted to CAS has a challenge with the codeword Friend. How perfect is that!
I find these a perfect (and challenging) mix in a card. This is how I ended up mixing these challenges in one card...
I know the Sketch originally has placed the manila tag a bit different, but I thought it fun to place the tag in the upper corner and cut the card to follow the tags lines. I think it brings the tags ribbon in much more focus.
The large purple flowers has each a homemade accent in the center. How to make my own homemade accents with Glossy Accents is a trick I learned in one of the Onlinecardclasses I have taken. The best thing is that you don't have to wait for it to dry - but they are just ready to be used. How great is that!
With this card I am also participating in Hero Arts Challenge, which this month is...Supplies:
Thanks for popping in :o) I hope you've had time to be creative this weekend. I have certainly enjoyed my crafting this weekend. Wish I had much more time for this.....
