Have a "Shaking" Happy Birthday....

This is my first try at a Shaker Card and it turned out pretty good (if I might say so myself) :o)

And this is also one more of my Mission cards, as I am using the 8x8 ShopSEI collection. There is still a pile of paper left, but I am beginning to see an end to the collection. May it soon make room for new stuff, YAY.

To make the shaker card I used THIS tutorial of Beate Johns from Splitcoaststampers.

I decided to add some glitter to the stars in the shaker but I kind of regret it now. It sticks too much to the window. My next shaker card will deffinitely be without that glitter.

For the window I used an office plastic sheet but one of clear and rather stiff plastic. I would have used overhead transparency sheets if I had had them. Any other kind of acetate sheets can be used.

Inside the shaker I have used some pink/fuchsia pink stars. I believe they were once purchased at Panduro.dk, but it is ages ago.
Now I have finally found something to use them for :o)
It is also possible to use sequins, little beads, coarse glitter etc.
Anything of tiny size can be used.

I have curved the sentiment so that it follows the curve of the shaker window. It is so cool that clear stamp sentiments can do this!

With this card I am participating in Simon Says Stamp's with the theme
"Anything Goes"

That's it for now. Am seriously considering making one more shaker card ;o)
