X-mas in July!......using cleaning cloth for embellishments.

One more Day 3 Summer Camp card:

I couldn't help getting intriged by a challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. I will let you know why further down ;o)

And yes, this is actually a Christmas card. A bit weird since it is in the middle of the summer here. Perhaps that is why I have chosen some un-traditional colours.

My card is made using sketch no. 3 from the Summer Card Camp 2 Class I am taking these next weeks.

The funny thing about this card is the Star. Why? Because the star is actually made out of a cleaning cloth. Here in Denmark you can buy a pack of these cleaning cloths which holds 3 different colours. Yellow, Pink and Blue. Do you know them?

Over at CAS-ual Fridays the Challenge this week is with the theme "Material Girl".
Which means: Create a CAS project that has some sort of a material, i.e. fabric, felt, canvas etc
How fun is that!
So I got creative and made a star out of a cleaning cloth (un-used of course) LOL....

With this card I am also participating in CAS on Sunday's Challenge with the theme
"Christmas in July"
and
in Simon Says Stamp's Challenge with the them
"Pin it!"

  2. Cute I have the white/pink/babyblue and often use the white as a baby diaper on cards. Closed with a mini safety pin naturally. =0)

  5. Helt sikkert et meget anderledes julekort, og i utraditionelle farver også, men det er altid sjovt at finde på nye ideer.
